What are Sigils?

Sigil Magic is one of the most efficient and economical disciplines of magic. It can be performed without complicated rituals, needs hardly any paraphernalia, and it is independent of philosophical and dogmatic premises. Due to its simplicity, it can be learned easily and quickly. 

Sigil magic is the art of using symbols and imagery to manifest a specific intent or outcome. A meaningless shape or figure that is given meaning by the magician and then deployed, released among the target population to spread like a virus.  

Sigils are probably one of the most common kinds of magic we all see in the modern world, but few seem to notice. 

Brand logos are perfect examples. The Nike swoosh or Mercedes Benz Tri Star are both perfect examples of highly powerful Sigil magic in action. These symbols are instantly recognizable in any country no matter the language. 

It’s not simply that their marketing executives have imprinted their brand names and their products in our minds. Those symbols evoke actual emotional or even physical responses in us. They can make you thirsty. They can make you smell that new car interior, they can make you hungry, they can make you feel good/motivated/happy/sad…. you name it. 

Symbols, seemingly innocent, have a profound effect on us physiologically as well as psychologically. 

So, the head honchos at these massive corporations have utilized the power of sigils to sell billions worth of their wares. What will you use it for? 

Sigils are not good or evil, they’re not black magic or white magic. They are like any other technology—they can be used for whatever purpose suits the user. For example, using personal symbols to focus on a goal, set good outcomes in motion or influencing emotions in a positive way—are good use of sigil magic to produce healing and healthy results. 

There are several methods, but at our retreats, we’ll focus on a simple technique to get you going. 

1. Determine your intention. 

2. Obscure the meaning. 

3. Design the sigil. 

4. Forget the sigil. 

5. Charge the sigil. 

What you are left with is a new tool, that you can utilise and come back to every time you need an extra push to achieve results for the higher good for you and your environment.
